School Introduction

 

School of Business Administration
 
The School of Business Administration consists of Business Administration Department, Marketing Department, Human Resource Management Department, Logistics Management Department, respectively specializing in the major of international business management, financial marketing, human resources management and logistics finance management. The present faculty is made up of 33 full-time teachers, as well as some part-time professors including scholars and experts of business management from home and abroad. Over 65% of the full-time teachers are PhD holders, of whom four are professors and eight are associate professors. Most of our teachers have received full-time education or further study abroad and about half of them have got rich experience in practical management of businesses. In recent years, our teachers have taken charge of or have participated in many research projects approved at or above ministerial and provincial-level, have presented in academic conferences at home and abroad and have published lots of papers in domestic and foreign academic journals.
 
We emphasize international communication, having established the “2+2” joint-degree program with Lakeland College (US) and having been an active participant in other programs for overseas study or exchange. Lots of our graduates work in financial institutions, industrial and commercial enterprises, government agencies and win honor for our school.
 
International Business Management
The training objective is to develop application-oriented talents in international business management. The students are to: have a global vision; acquire the basic theoretical knowledge of international business management; have strong basic professional ability and wide range of professional knowledge; analyze and solve the problems in international business management; be competent in strategic management, enterprise planning, operation management, management consulting and other positions in multinational corporations and other enterprises as well as public institutions; enhance their moral qualities, intellectual ability, physical fitness and aesthetic appreciation and have compound knowledge, initiative spirit and international communicative competence. 
 
Through systematic study of the basic theory in Economics, Management Science, our students can acquire the basic knowledge and ability in international business management, the knowledge of finance and law, as well as the international conventions and China’s business management policies and regulations. They are also proficient in specialized English and skilled in using computer for market analysis and daily management.
 
This major includes following professional curriculum: Management Science, Accounting, Finance, Economic Law, Organization Behavioristics, Strategic Management, International Business Management, Operations Management, Venture Management, International Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
 
Financial Marketing
The training objective is to develop application-oriented talents in financial marketing. The students are to: have a global vision and market expansion capability; adapt to the trend of economic globalization and socioeconomic development; get acquainted with international conventions, regulations and commercial environment; be qualified for international financial marketing jobs in multinational corporations, joint ventures, international trading corporations, financial institutes,etc; enhance their moral qualities, intellectual ability, physical fitness and aesthetic appreciation and have compound knowledge, innovative consciousness, and international communicative competence.
 
Through systematic study of the basic theoretical knowledge in Economics, Management Science, our students can possess the fundamental theoretical knowledge of modern international marketing and business, basic skills such as market research, business planning, exhibition organization and market expansion,etc, In addition, it is requisite to have a better knowledge of specialized english.

Human Resources Management
The training objective is to develop application-oriented talents in human resources management. Our students are to: harvest theoretical knowledge and practical experience of human resources management at home and abroad; have sound basic professional ability and wide range of professional knowledge; get acquainted with the principles, policies and regulations of human resources management; be competent for following jobs: human resources management, labor management and vocational guidance, etc; fully enhance their moral qualities, intellectual ability, physical fitness and aesthetic appreciation; have compound knowledge, initiative spirit, and international communicative competence.
 
Through systematic study of the basic theoretical knowledge in Economics, Management Science and Human Resources Management, our students can acquire acquaintance with the latest development in human resources management, well-developed abilities for organization and coordination, effective interpersonal communication and human resources management, requisite qualifications for jobs such as human resources planning, training, selection, assessment, and incentive,etc.
 
This major has following professional curriculum: Management Science, Leadership Science, Human Resources Management, Job Analysis, Personnel Quality Surveying, Organization Behavioristics, Salary Administration, Performance Management, Management of Labor Relations, Financial Human Resources Management ,etc.
 
Logistic Finance Management
This major is an emerging interdiscipline, the training objective of which is to develop application-oriented talents in logistics finance management. The students are to : give a full play to both modern logistics management knowledge and modern financial theory they have learned; be qualified for integrated services in logistics finance management such as financing, account settlement, venture management in logistics enterprises; be equal to the project design and management of logistics finance appreciation services such as development and maintenance of logistics finance products, management of credit risk, customer relation management, collateral assessment, enterprise financing, etc; enhance their moral qualities, intellectual ability, physical fitness and aesthetic appreciation; have compound knowledge, innovative spirit and international communicative competence.
 
Through systematic study of the basic theoretical knowledge of modern logistics management and modern finance, our students can harvest the basic theories on modern logistics and supply chain management at home and abroad, the fundamental knowledge and practical skills of management science as well as logistics, professional logistics finance management capability, logistics finance business operation competence. They are also good at specialized English and computer information technology.
