SFU-Towson “1+2+1” Program
Since 2005, Towson University (TU) and SFU have been collaborating on a program of “1+2+1 in Actuarial Science and Risk Management” to jointly produce talents in the profession of insurance and actuarial science. The students in this program will study at SFU in the first year, and then go to TU to study in the 2nd and 3rd years; the students will return to SFU to finish the final courses in the 4th year. If students pass all required exams, they can obtain undergraduate diplomas from SFU and TU.
After graduation, students of the program are either admitted by world-renowned universities such as Columbia University and Waterloo University, or work in financial institutions.
